Character Bio: In the beginning of the film, Vivek’s character, whilst completely down to earth cannot seem to understand the true meaning of love. Throughout the duration of the film, his character evolves and begins to understand what love is all about.

Synopsis: Diya (Aishwarya Rai), a University student travels to Mumbai to take her exams where she stays with her father’s friend and meets their light-hearted son, Arjun (Vivek Oberoi). His views on love are completely opposite hers. But they start spending time with each other and soon fall in love. Arjun however, is unaware that he is in love, whereas Diya professes her love. Misunderstandings occur until Arjun ventures off to an orphanage. There, he realizes his true feelings for Diya, who is planning on marrying her childhood friend, Ishaan.
